Today’s latest purchase (well actually it turned up last night was a one wind poncho liner/top quilt for my hammock. You tube reviews seem good but I’m interested if anyone else has one for an honest (not sponsored) opinion.

I plan on sneaking away for a little wild camp on Friday night so will let you know. I also have the Onewind under quilt so hopefully they work well together.

A sweet little candle lantern. I can use it with tea lights, but am wondering if it once also had a little oil lantern insert. It's made by Coleman. Anyone seen one of these before? Any info on it? Got it in the charity shop, as it stands, tho i did put the tealight in myself. 20240909_155235.jpg

Just did a Google search on the image, the sellers of it that I found are all selling it as a tea light lantern, so I’d say no, just tea lights. :)

Thanks, I don't know how to search with an image, could only find much larger citronella candle lantern when I searched Google.
Guess what.....I've just dropped it and smashed the glass shade!!!
Gutted!
May try and make a new shade from a small glass bottle. I'm too teed off to think about it tonight.
Doesn't give a lot of light out, but I reckon if I had citronella t lights, it would be a great bit of kit for anti midge operations in camp.
Anyway. Thanks for searching for me.

Likewise, really does seem to only be a lantern for tea lights. Link here for an eBayUS listing that handily notes you can store a spare one in the base: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/22623216...Vm8AsQ-QMa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Looks like there are quite a few non-Coleman unbranded ones around too, presumably copies.

A spearfishing gun for £5, we are of somewhere hot in the new year and I’ve been kidding the girls I was going to get one to hunt for our supper, I went to our local secondhand market today and one was there.
Trouble is no spear and I know nothing about the sport, I think the gun is from the 70’s.
Anybody help point me in the right direction please?
Also got a Elu belt sander for a tenner and a cast iron pot belly bbq for five,

You point in in the direction of the fish. In practice, you will find that all suitable fish know to the nearest centimetre the range of all spearguns and swim at least a metre beyond that. I suggest your womenfo!k take a supply of tinned tuna.
