I took this one a few years back when I was really into wildlife photography

I put some more up when I get them scanned.

Very nice photos Stuart. I almost made it to Canada once and was 2 miles from Mexico for a short time. That about covers my exotic travel.

Morels picked in the Spring when the moss is such a vivid green.

Umm, would you mind me asking you if morels are common in your area? They are extreemly rare here.

All of these were taken on slide film. I copied the slides onto negative film then scanned the prints so they have lost a little of the original quality.

Umm, would you mind me asking you if morels are common in your area? They are extreemly rare here.

Hi Wind Chaser. No Morels are pretty common here in the Springtime. Each year is different with some years lots and others few.

Here is some info on their distribution:

Distribution
Morels are one of the most widely distributed mushrooms, flourishing in temperature regions around the world across Europe, Asia, and North America. In the U.S. they can be found from coast to coast and from the Canadian border south, petering out about halfway between Washington, D.C., and the Gulf of Mexico, although they are occasionally found as far south as Louisiana.

One my sweet wife took when we were visiting 600 miles up to the Northern California coast.

Looking at that photo,i would say your wife has a good eye for composition,nice photo.
