The horses here are well loved too, but the idea is to eat them when they are in too much pain to live or are too old, instead of paying 2000 euros for cremating them or burying 500kg of meat in the ground.

That shows typical sense and compassion which hasn't reached europes outter western reaches yet Not at the political level, anyhow!

At work I'm the chap who always has a knife handy and get get a fire going most of the time

To my neighbours I'm the fella who's always about with his rucksack and nice friendly pooch

To my geeky friends I'm the outdoorsy dude

To my outdoorsy friends I'm the geeky one

And amusingly I recently went into a local primary school to give a presentation on barn owls, I became the owl man.

To my wife I'm sure I'm a pain in the butt with too much kit lol
