I just did a day down the Wye a week or two ago with PSM Outdoors, I found the instructor to be very good (Peter), he's my other half's cousin or something like that, she didn't bother to say one of her family owned a outdoors shop while I've been buy a load of new gear. Hope you enjoy it.

There wasn't really much to be said rules wise. Most people respect sites anyway, as they want to be able to come back. The main rules covered by the landowner seemed to cover the basics. The leave no trace aspect covers everything from fire scars, to firewood collection and damage to the site and surrounding area. Noise levels are usually acceptable and staying within the property boundary is easy enough as it is well defined. Thunderbox stopped random droppings across the woods. There was no stream in the area we used, so no worries about contamination. Only biodegradable chemicals and cleaning products were in use. Parking is restricted to a smallish area, and access to other parts of the wood is dictated by the paintball users, which can be heard several miles away anyhow lol.

It's a tricky one. The site would take up to 15-20 people really, as long as we bring enough water to last us. We were actually located in a different copse to the original plan, due to activities in the rest of the woods, but it was a little larger and bushcraft friendly. If I checked with the landowner, I'm pretty sure we could just run an open invite, but maybe put a cap of 20 on it. The guys that showed interest at the beginning will be contacted first, for a chance to go top of that list, then after that a first come first served basis. I really need to speak with the landowner again to make sure. Shouldn't be a problem though.
