"Complete Spanish", my wife has spoken a number of words to me I do not understand, maybe it's in this book somewhere, :confused: if it ain't here, it's Urdu next.

I'm reading the hobbit for school (In English!:))
Good book so far, not so difficult.

I read frankenstein in English too and it had loads of words I had to look up like 'fiend'. I still don't know how you pronounce that. Is it like friend without an 'r'?

It's pronounced more like feend

Definitely a very cool read. If you like that, have a go on "Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene. Both of these books were my bush companions for a stint.

I started reading The Dice Man. I stopped when it started getting too weird for my liking and used it to test the penetration of some new rifle pellets from across the living room. Nobody ever need read that book.

I've recently discovered E.R.Burroughs Barsoom series which I download to my phone for free. They are preposterous, shallow, predictable, non-PC, swashbuckling adventures; and I love them!

Yes count me in on that opinion. Tarzan and John Carter are total Bo££0&s by modern standards but they do draw you in. I was surprised how different Tarzan was to the books and certainly never expected him to have adventures as a secret agent for the French and other weird shenanigans.
