May I suggest an easily found option of a flourescent yellow runners bib? Usually comes with sewn on retroreflective stripes and can be worn, wrapped around a backpack , flown as a flag and splayed out on the ground. One here as an example, cheap and functional.

A hi-viz waistcoat is about £5 on eBay - why would you want to pay more for a less useful plain panel? As @Danceswithhelicopters said, you can wear it easily too. It would be cheaper than buying the fabric

Why would you want to invest in material , labour and try to sell RFID wallets when you could buy them equally as cheap?

I want a panel which will provide better visibility than a waistcoat and potentially have multiple uses if well planned.

Slightly snarky reply. The difference between this panel and my wallets is that they use very little material, so the material cost is pretty minimal (in fact, I often make them from offcuts from other projects). I haven't seen an equivalent product (a brief look on Etsy shows similar items are more expensive).

If I were to make a panel for you, assuming I'd need a metre of fabric, that's about £7 (eBay), then another couple of pounds for the reflective tape, if that's what you wanted. Say £10 for materials. Then you have the labour cost. That Swedish one works out at about £14 - I wouldn't be able to make you one for that (because I'm not buying the fabric/tape in bulk).

There are many people out there who would happily take your money and make you something for way more than it would cost to buy it outright. I was trying to communicate that from what you had described, it would be far more economical to use a cheap hi-viz waistcoat but you obviously have more function in mind.

If I recall correctly, I posted a picture of my RFID wallet and you said you would be interested in buying it, even though it wasn't a trade advert. I'm not a trader on here but since then I've set up an Etsy shop in case others feel the same way. If I were to charge a decent rate for my time, it would cost way more than it was worth, IMHO.

I have previously used/been given simple orange pvc type fabric 'sleeves' which slipped over the hood of an otherwise camouflaged rucksack - they really made a huge difference - it was amazing the distance you could spot them at in the hills. I now have something similar which i made up myself permanently rolled up inside the lid pocket of my (green) rucksack. It was quite simple to do - a hemmed square of very thin/lightweight bright orange nylon, and strip of nylon webbing (stitched only at its ends) down two opposite sides of the panel. Whilst i made it to size to fit my rucksack hood through, it could also be used in many other manners. Not getting into the discussion of whether its better to buy something or make something, but I offer this comment anyway in case people are reading this and have the same inclination (as i did) to make something to measure!

Decathlon do an add on rucksack rain cover in bright orange that works well for visibility too. Dual purpose!

Seems Tyvek is made in blaze orange. There's hi viz Tyvek coveralls, wristbands etc.
But can't find a simple sheet/roll of it though.

A slight thread hijack but the chat about marker panels made me review my on hill kit. By accident most of my gear is muted and not loud and watching a group of led walkers going across a loch area from a distance I could spot the organised leaders with their yellow tabards. Some of the others, not so much.

Lo and behold, cheap yellow reflective running over vests in TK Maxx and I've added one to my bag for the Original posters idea of visibility but also to link into the accurate recognition that the one in the yellow tabard must know something!
