Fun with Bindrunes

Well I don't have any arty type programs on my computer not even MS Paint so I had to draw this freehand.
I have put a bit of a twist on it, the bindrune is inside an Ancient Egyptian Cartouche.
(I'm a bit mad on Ancient Egypt, always have been!)

Eric I was just wondering if you could have a go at putting it into colour if you have time.

Anyway here it is.

The letters involved are:
G, J, L & H

Ooh, that's a great idea! Strangely, I made a symbol last night using the letters of my name, and came on here today to find this - think I'll go and try it! They all look great!

If anyone is wondering, the letters I used are as follows:
The top three, Centre - G, Left - J, Right - L are the first initials of Mine, My sons & my Wife's names.
The bottom letter - H is the first letter of our surname.

Looks a bit like a cartoon stick reindeer, sitting in some weird Yoga position. Hmm, maybe there's something to these runes after all

mine isn't too inspiring either, not much you can do with S C with no middle initial! it was tempting to put in a random initial to jazz it up!

I use a program called CorelDraw v9. I've been using CorelDraw since version 2, way back in the dark ages, so I know my way around the software. Once you know the shortcuts, it's easy.

Hi Eric, are the runes the ones from an old Germanic alphabet or similar? I am looking to do something like this with our Cubs and it seems a good one to choose as it's different but with fairly simple characters.
