When it comes to my brother, I do not think it is possible to have a civil disagreement, it will either come to blows or a mutual shunning for a month or so, he is a tetchy one for sure.
One cousin disappeared for 13 years after a few disagreements with his father and others. He's back in the fold now though! Family is prone to disagreement but usually there's something that between family members that never goes away fully.
