It's a CN which means it has a cotton inner and nylon fly. Looks like a Mk2 which is a pretty small version. The fly could easily be reproofed. They're great.

It came in a rather torn `Wild Country` tent bag.

The seller told me it was a Vango, but was unsure of type.

Nor could I see any tell tale orange

They say once the fly peels its no good.

But the fabric itself is sound...

Do you think a coat of fabsil will save it?

I picked one up at the Citadel cb , Ayr £2. Gill picked up a cracker of a tent 2-3 months ago at Ayr cb.

I'm guessing its silicon impregnated. You may be able to remove the current proofing then reproof using silicone bathroom sealant mixed with white spirits. But id test a small portion first.

I've got an older force Ten with an uncoated nylon fly, Fabsil/tent proof used to sort it out, but I'd coat it in thinned silicon sealant now as Mike suggested.

Only for Vinegar lovers though, it hongs like a turd in a crash helmet
