sounds like borrowed/stolen kit, and they dont exactly sound like they were sober, i doubt they thought much except "crap we have been caught doing something stupid, run!"
southey, did you tell them they wernt allowed to take their kit, or did they just leg it? i doubt they even though about their stuff, so how exactly anyone can say its your fault they didnt take their kit i do not know.

i have never actually seen a sensible fair comment from you 789987, but i dont think someone trying to cause trouble can get to nearly 300 posts without being kicked off the site. just look at things from others perspectives, how would you like someone illegally camping close to your house with a dangerously large fire and making explosions.
the large fire is also near a lot of overhanging trees and with a lot of explosives going off too was ridiculously dangerous. when these goons had eventually passed out in their melting tents its worryingly likely that something would set on fire which shouldnt have and could have set the whole woodland ablaze around them.
if i were those idiots i would be much happier loosing that kit than running around in a drunken stupor in a burning forest...

789987 I'm sorry for putting you on my ignored list, I think that was wrong of me.

I wasn't alone and I know I was in the right and completely with in the law both civil and military. as human beings we have many rights but we also have a responsibility to exercise our rights in a way so as not to infringe upon the rights of others.

Other than the initial "HEY" to get there attention we didn't shout or act in a physically threatening fashion, we told them that if they didn't go we would be calling the MP's and believe me they don't take kindly to acts of criminal damage or making explosions, especially in the current climate, and so close to service quarters they left, they just didn't bother to take there kit, it sat there for the next two day's and they never came back for it, so off to the skip it went.

Can you please tell me what exactly you reckon I've done wrong?

it was mod land - as your taxes go to fund it you have as much right as anyone to be on it.

If it's MOD land, then it is probably a prohibited place under the official secrets act.
This means you don't have right of access and can be moved on.
If they left under their own volition after being challenged (and they were lucky it wasn't armed guards doing it) then I don't see the problem.

This might answer why they were happy just to go away with out the MP's being called.

The tin will have held the green stuff they were putting in the orange grinder which then went into the blue rizlas, not that I know about such things you understand.

The tin probably was from the legal stuff once but I doubt that's what they were smoking due to the other small bag, the tin was probably used to hold the papers, grinder and little bags in together for their trip.

What is the gold coloured square pouch ?

Yup, best to get that sort of thing tidied away.

The Oust thing is puzzling me, either there was a little kid with them at some point (DS game) who didn't want his mum smelling the weed when he got home, or somebody was inhaling the gas out of the can, but then I should think the green top would be missing.
