Now while this obviously is not the worst thing I've ever been called by my wife, it still was somewhat of a shocker. She just called me a.... redneck!.:yikes:
Why you might ask? I purchased some almost new atv tires for next to nothing from a guy just wanting to be rid of them. They had been sitting outside for who knows how long (several years I suspect) so were quite dirty. Completely covered with bits of grass, dust, dirt and so on, both inside and out. In my defense it was a cold day, nor did I have anything big enough to wash them in so I used what any normal man would...the bathtub. I must admit there was quite a mess, far more than anticipated. In fact, they were a little dirtier than they appeared, as I had to change the water several times. The end result: no harm done, all is cleaned up, both tires and tub!
Today I needed to treat my boots with Sno Seal http://www.atsko.com/products/waterproofing/sno-seal.html After cleaning them I had to get them nice and warm before applying it. I did the what any normal man would have done...I put my boots in the kitchen oven. It heated them up nice and even too, good job!
So just remember ladies, sometimes your words can be so hurtful
Okay, let's see now, what else can I do today...
