Picked up a nice Victorinox Officers folding penknife today at a stall, £11 and some change. Nice useful features and a legal carry.
Guessing not an 1897 officer's, or the 2022 reproduction (which new are around $500)... but the modern Spartan with big & small blade, can & tin opener, corkscrew & awl back tools, and toothpick & tweezers?
Gives off a low light, depending on your wick height, haven't given it a full outdoor test yet sorry
Wouldn't know how to date it, but no toothpick or tweezers, rest of features as you describe. Also does not have a keyring/lanyard eye which surprised me. It has HUrlimann Bier and a logo on the other side, so maybe its cheaper promotional one?
Looking at the blade enscription under a magnifier, it says "Officier Suisse" so maybe that means its officially Swiss, not that it is the Officer model? I don't know much about this make/history, or any others really.
History
The Spartan has the same main toolset as the original Victorinox Officer's Knife, (historical model number 234), so it is a direct descendant of that first 'Swiss Army Knife.' However, as the Victorinox tools and product line evolved and improved, the Spartan today is very different from the Officer's Knife; with significant changes to the can-opener, screwdriver and awl, but also changes to all the other tools, and the scales; also adding in the toothpick and tweezers.
The 'Standard ' model was the predecessor to the Spartan and its name was a reflection of its early military heritage. It is almost identical to the Spartan, but with solid scales, that did not contain the tweezers or toothpick tools; also it usually did not include the keyring.

I saw there was somebody showng how you could temporarily remove the scales and add/alter the features. The "missing" items would be nice but I think I'll leave as it is.
Maybe make a small simple holder for it so that it does not fall out of pockets so easily and to keep it clean.
I have a larger model and notice how it sems to collect dirt/bits in it when closed.
