They are good coats, hope a bit of nikwax wash and direct will do the trick
Yes, I really like the coat, the large pockets are big enough to fit a reading book in.

The membrane has disintegrated and I'm not keen on it slowly dropping everywhere so I'm thinking about attempting to pull a few stitches on the inner mesh to try to scrape all of the membrane out. It probably seems like a lot of effort, but I do like the design of the coat and after a wash with Nikwax, the outer coat looks like brand new and I would rather repurpose the coat than see it go in the bin.

I've had a Silky Super Accel 21 for several years, and it has been brilliant.
I have just added a Silky Gomboy Outback edition to my collection, hopefully arriving tomorrow, I love the look of it over the standard bright Steel / black rubber handle original saws...I can't wait to try it out.

Yesterday off a certain social media for sale section ,I got a secondhand Weber go anywhere charcoal bbq been well used and needs a good clean . But for £20 I am happy with it.

I bought this. Cold steel trench hawk throwing axe. Its amazing for chopping wood as well and I need one so not just a new toy. x

Not bought today, but arrived yesterday while I was at work.

Holly on the left, locust on the right, birch in the middle, plus a couple of small free samples of what is marked "Chakte Kok"

Got a lift into town and tesco today, managed to replace my charcoal bottomed milk pan, and also bought a small wok for my stir fry.
New underwear, (last purchased any before lockdown and they are not what you want to be knocked down by a bus with! )
Finaly I feel I can now cope with that scenario without embarrassment. :)
Also got some more sock wool, a thermal vest, and a fat ball feeder, from lidel, which I popped into for olive oil and came away without...dam those middle isles!
Yesterday got two jars of local honey from my secret supplier, saving myself about 8 quid if I'd bought the same from local shops.
I've not had a shopping spree like this for a very long time. And I hate to think how much I spent.
I know it's not bushcraft stuff, but I enjoyed the rare trip out in a BMW sports car with heated seats. I wish I'd had those back in the day in my reliant!!!!!

Olive oil? Have you come into money? I’m guarding my olive oil from anything but bread making. It costs more than to end lubricant!!

Tesco about £9, lidel around £5-6. Still very expensive for a little bottle, but very nessasary for my humous. Everything else I use cheaper veg oil, though I don't use that as much as I did, preferring to dry fry or grill if I can. I do poached eggs instead of fried , grill bacon, etc, olive oil is a luxury I can't do without.... I'd rather sacrifice my loo rolls!

Bought a few days ago.. There's a book store inside Pontypridd indoor market where every book is £1. I stop by every time I'm in Pontypridd and usually always find a book or two to buy, well this time I bought four books. The fourth book not pictured is 'Beyond the Horizon' by Welsh Rugby player Richard Parks. I started reading Fiennes 'Mind over Matter' yesterday and it's just brilliant.

I've been getting a bit fed up trying to load everything for 2 people (me and my son) for a camping trip into a 45L rucksack and then after seeing Ran Fiennes kit list which comprised of a Karrimor rucksack among other Karrimor kit, I decided to have gander at vintage Karrimor and ended up buying a Jaguar S65 on Vinted for £20 plus postage. I'm really excited for this to arrive.

I then came across this vintage Karrimor Ridge 30-35 which I absolutely do not need but could not say no to for £5. I've now banned myself from looking on Vinted.

Cracking purchases. Vinted is lethal.

They are great bags; I still use my Karrimor Jaguar S65 and it must be getting on for 40 years old!
