That's not a straight forward conversion is it?
The bottle/tin openers & awl are on the same layer with their back spring for them both.

Normally people use an Alox model, which moves the awl off the back, known as the Bushcrafter. And then some put a harden steel striker on the back. A Bushcrafter Firesteel.

No, not simple but I didn't want to sacrifice two to make one. I will compare the profiles of the awl and back Philips, hopefully they match or there is enough meat on the awl to grind it to match.

Oh god, yet another torch! This time it’s a Wurkkos TS10 in copper. I’ve already got 2 of them in aluminium, but I couldn’t resist the solid copper.

For any one wanting an AA size torch (takes a usb rechargeable AA size lithium battery) they are great fun, the Alu ones can be as cheap as about £18 inc battery. Tiny coloured LEDs glow in the head for location in the dark.

Been tempted, though Wurkkos announced a dual led 14500/AA angle light a couple of weeks ago. Seems first lot is going to be white & UV, but can't see why wouldn't release a white & red at some point.

They will. They’ll generally take on board feedback from the forums and implement the ideas. People like red.

Just finished it. It was a bit of a struggle and I had to fettle the awl a bit but all the tools have a nice snap to them.

I got a SAK Ranger and (not today) a sloyd blade off Hewn and Hone by Nic Westermann. I have put on a handle I got from Workshop Heaven. It is a predrilled chisel handle as I do not possess a reliable method of drilling straight holes into handles. It has fitted up well though!
The blade has a flat over hollow grind and a strong 2.5mm thickness.
