To start off, I've just ordered myself a shiny new GB Wildlife hatchet....
100 Water purification tabs.
A new Chinese diesel heater controller.
A new Horizone Redback to replace the very worn out one. 2/3 hours making those specialised adaptions to make it personal.

Size 3 (8 litre) potjie. 9.5kg empty, 17.6kg full of soup.

Over 2 sessions, $90.00 computer service help with software installation and financial account wizardry that I have NOT been able to fix, myself, in the last 6 weeks. Money very well spent.

Didnt buy but was given.

A whole load of those jigsaw mats to go in the tent. Though these are big so I might well cut them to a more handy size.

What best to cut with? They are that firm soft plastic sponge stuff.

Stanley knife perhaps?

Bought a Manly Peak in D2, two-handed opening to comply with German knife carry law. My first Bulgarian knife, they're supposed to do a great heat treat. It was between this and 14c28n at nearly the same price. Pictures in a couple days.

Hi Tengu I would probably melt it with something like an electric soldering iron,

I have the Patriot in D2. It's definitely hard and a little more challenging to sharpen but a great little knife. It hasn't shown any sign of rusting either.

A brand new, (price tags still on,) merino wool zip up top by Dale of Norway for a measly six pounds, from my local charity shop.
The price in Danish money is horrendous! Works out about £200!
It's so thick and warm , a delight to wear on this cold and rainy day.

Yeah I already have an EnZo and a Ganzo in D2 so I'm familiar with the steel. I like it a lot. For knives that aren't used for chopping, something hard and abrasion-resistant is great.

I hope you'll give us a review of this! :)
It came with the usual steep secondary bevel edge, not good for wood. Took a bit of time grinding down the edge to a lower angle, probably have a bit more that could come off it. It gets REALLY sharp and seems to hold it well so far. Surprisingly comfortable handle given how short and slim it is.
