Bag, couple of torches, ferro rod and a couple of pocket pouches from Temu, bag was supposed to have green webbing and fittings, not the diarrhoea brown it turned up as.

Haven't heard the colour described like that before, but fitting. I prefer the greens myself, but I find the browns seem to be less visible and better as camoflage.

A new down sleeping bag. My favourite mountain equipment classic 600, sadly no longer available, so got the next best 3 season.
Very peeved as I've had it almost 18 yrs, and it's my most used bag. Managed to rip it on a branch as I was airing it, and all the lovely "fluffy stuff" came out like a cloud . I actualy cried.
Could kick myself for being so stupid! I'm now over 300 quid lighter. Ouch!

Sorry for your sleeping bag loss.

Which sleeping bag did you gain in its place?

Mountain equipment helium 600. Hope its as nice and comfy as the classic.
I got the mens version as I find female specific bags too constrictive. I tend to want to spread out a little when I'm sleeping.
To be honest, it had a few holes which I mended with tenacious tape,so had lost a bit of stuffing, so I was considering a replacement, but was waiting for the sales in the autumn. It was on my list as a replacement, just wasn't expecting to replace it now at full price. I had been airing it on my washing line in the sun ,ready for the sw bushcraft show in a couple of weeks, and as I flipped it off the line, it caught in the tree that overhangs somewhat, and needs a trim. RIP in both senses!

Nice bag, that!

It’s always something silly like that which does it. Years in the woods/outdoors: fine. Washing line: Torn to shreds.

Yep. I felt sick! I've cared for that bag like a baby for years.
Lawn looked like a bird murder scene. It took me ages to pick up all the tiny bits of down. Still finding bits of fluff days later!
I'm thinking if I can save enough of the down, I might make a down blanket...yet another project idea that might still be waiting for me to do in ten years time. :)

After much umming and aaaaing, I finally ordered myself a new pair of trainers.

Oh, and a D-Tap extension to go with the external battery and dummy battery for my dSLR that arrived last week and the week before, respectively. Getting ready for some looooong photo shoots later this year...

Nearly a thousand quid on a new Arai helmet, intercom and Garmin motorbike sat nav. Ouch. I knew it was going to have to happen, but that doesn't lessen the blow.
I bought my old helmet in 2006, the intercom is nearly as old and the speakers are shot, and I'm unable to upgrade my TomTom. The recommendation is to change the helmet evey 5 years, but at £500 a time I don't see that happening. Ho humm..
