Did you get the length of that antenna, what edition was the article in in radcon?

I got the data photocopied for you and will bring them to the next meet along with the 2m antenna for the barn radio setup. But for reference the antenna is 84ft wire and 17ft counterpoise, and a 33ft one for 40m and 80m the configuration does help itself with a 4:1 current balun at the feed point, more so if using an auto tunner, to help with the matching:-

If all goes well the first sight, however if it's wet like last time use the barn for cooking and the wood next to it for camping as the ground is dry and firm
 
i feel like this is a silly question is there a water supply there or do i need to bring my own and anything else ill need as this will be my first group meet !
