Does anyone know if the tarp could be used as a footprint for a tent? (Specifically the 3x3 and a Golite Hex 3)

Is it thick enough?

Yeah, I've had that problem before, but thought it was just personal account to personal account... Must admit I assumed you'd paid via switch/maestro...

Well, I guess another week won't hurt - time for the weather to improve a little more.. :umbrella:

I'd guess you could in an emergency, but I wouldn't recommend it - because they're lighter tarps they won't be as robust as one of those DPM bashas, so you might find them getting a bit holey...

Ok, thanks for that. And it's in a pine forest, so I guess it's a double no. :D

On a different note I expressed a cheque for over £10,000 in the RBS bank cost me £25 took 11 days, and they lost the bloody cheque 11 days later I got a payment to my account for £10 needless to say I got it back but what a carry on, the moral of the story stay clear of RBS

I wouldn't risk it as as a small stone or pine cone may burst thru. It's quite slidy as well with the silicon coating. You can get ultra cheap sheets from BandQ and then cut to shape instead. I have slept in/on my DD hammock on the ground but the thermarest was preventing too much pressure on the material and a karimat was under the hammock.
