Some more from me. Three very different pieces of music that speak to me of the outdoors, all in different ways.

"Jungle" - ELO

"The Sound of Silence" - Simon & Garfunkel

Rik we can have Tea, Oatcakes and cheese with our two in a nice tipi with a stove. How civilised.

Definitely another vote from me for Gjallarhorn - especially Suvetar / Goddess of Spring (on their Sjofn album). I saw them live some years ago and their didgeridoo reverberated through my bones. Perhaps not an instrument you would readily associate with Finnish / Swedish music but trust me, it works! Truly amazing.

I would also suggest Capercaillie - a breathtaking mixture of haunting Scottish Gaelic melodies and wild reels. Love 'em!

For me, there is no Bushcraft music. Bushcraft and music just dont mix. I cant say I've ever heard a piece of music that has reminded me of or inspired me to go out to the great outdoors. The closest I can come to is the crackle of the fire and the dawn chorus, thats my Bushcraft music.

These do it for me at the moment: -
