    chalk and toothpaste have both worked as stropping agents for me. Toothpaste has the added bonus that it makes everything smell minty:)

    i was told at work that the scraper blade made out of an old stanley knife was to be thrown away- apparently it's dangerous. Obviously much more dangerous than the mills, lathes, surface grinder, welding bays etc.

    exactly whattechnique are you using to sharpen your knives? what knives are they. There are a milion and one ways to achieve a really sharp edge, a little mor einfor on what you're doing now will help people give you better advice

    it's a sad fact of life that it is neccessary for people to die in order for others to live. people aren't designed to live to 110, i'd much rather die at 60 after a happy healthy life than live to 100 having spent morethan half of my life reliant on others, racked with disease, injury etc.
