Gerry Anderson dies along with my childhood. I lived for Thunderbirds as a small kid - brilliant they don't make them like that anymore.

I have a sot spot for Stingray and those aquaphibians but Thunderbirds was the best.

Aside from being a major part of many people's childhood, he produced a quality of entertainment that just no longer seems to exist. Also quite surprising how accurate many of his predictions for the future were.
