I had a soaker hose running behind some plants that were in full sun at our house in NJ. Not permanently connected to anything, but I could hook it up to a hose to a tap and give those plants a good, slow drink on days when they were wiltingCan’t you attach some ooze tube ands save yourself the watering cans?
Edited to add:
Apparently Ooze Tube is a trade name for something different. There is a semi porous tube that you can thread through your veg and droplets of water ooze out through the material.
I’ll try and find a name.
