Really happy to find a, hmmm. It's like a big box with compartments in, but made out of canvas. It's got pockets on the side. You can clip it so it packs down to the size of a briefcase, or a medium size, or fully unclipped it's like 1m X 0.3m of useable space.

I'm very excited to use it on fixed camps in future, I was trying to design something just like it. To keep all your stuff organised in the tent across multiple days. Can't see a label or brand, wouldn't know what to call it

Nice. I have the Tool Check for general purpose stuff in the campervan and it’s superb.

Quite why @Jared had to post a whole catalogue to gullible fools like me who make up usage scenarios very easily, I have no idea.

Friend took me to the range today, as I needed a trip out, and she was going for herself.
We passed go outdoors, so I persuaded her that it would be a great idea to pop in.
Got some seam sealant that I needed to perk up a cheap, leaky tent.
Some lightweight pegs, a wide mouth water bottle, a coleman FyreLite stove as a back up to the pocket rocket, and a blow up solar lantern. (Oh and some knitting wool from the range.)
I do like a bit of retail therapy!

I did see that, mine came from Amazon, but honestly would never use that many. If you’re lighting a BBQ you’d use a few and are much nicer to scatter about than broken stinky paraffin blocks. In answer to @Falstaff, they don’t leak or soften, they’re hard lumps. I’ll split one and leave it a couple of days.

I sent a SVEA stove and some nesting pots to @SaraR on here and a few were in one of the pots, they must have been years old.

There. A little bit greasy but nothing like the paraffin firelighters. I’ll leave it and see if there’s any melt.

The sachets use kerosene but don't know what they absorb it in.

No change, they smell very slightly oily but still stable

Last night I got a bit of spending money, and put some towards a Spyderco UK Penknife Salt in Magnacut steel. I have been wanting one for ages, nearly bought the LC200N (Cronidur) version a couple of times, but wanted more edge holding and was willing to sacrifice ultimate corrosion resistance.

I had the original UKPK in S30V and black G10, but lost it. Was never a fan of that steel. I like a steel that holds a razor edge better, rather than a “working” edge. Although the S110V version has been nice. I got a Lion Steel in Magnacut and like how it sharpens, the edge it takes and how it holds it, so looking forward to the new Spyderco.
