Well done, you got a real bargain ChasVisited the High Weald Steam Working Weekend Show and was a cracking event. On the way out I spotted a battered Svea 123r stove in amongst the rusty spanner etc on a stall.
I had a quick look it was missing the pot stands and the windshield was a bit battered and jammed on. Apart from that it all looked good, most importantly the tank was in good order.
I asked the stallholder the price and when he said £5 I could not get my wallet out quick enough.
Looks like I have some fettling to do, great result

It looks like a handy tool.Sold a LM Charge, bit set and extender, and replaced with a Bibury for £34.99. Sensible 6mm bit holder makes it much more versatile. It’s also a lot more comfortable to grip hard in pliers mode. Seriously impressed.
That's a nice set. I like your transforming sitmat/bag, I'd been thinking about the very same thing. Rather than clips I've noticed that 2 fabric end caps with elastic/velcro/bits of string between them are light and easy to use. Might even double as cooking pot warmers? This pot - £2 at our village fete. I’ve been looking for something like it for two years.

The little one pint Kelly Kettle is far and away my main camp cooking tool. It and it’s Hobo stove attachment do everything I could want.
Unfortunately the small size cook set that fits inside the kettle would be better used for storing meds.

A couple of years ago I modified the kettle handle so that it slid precisely into a 14cm Zebra pot, also with a modified handle. Now I can cook up a proper stew. Then I had the idea!!! ….. and it’s taken two years to appear on thejunkbric-a-brac stall.

Remove the new pot handle and I have a two pan stainless steel storage cylinder for my Kelly Kettle.
Making a folding wire handle for the upper pot will be easy.
The next job will take some thought - how to clip the two pots together.
I have made a robust transforming bag/sitmat that will hold everything together beautifully but there would be something satisfying about creating the interlocking shiny cylinder and it will keep both my brain cells active, possibly even simultaneously.

Unfortunately the bag is now so full that there is no room for the pot grippers!

How on Earth would you justify THAT.I've not succumbed yet - but I'm close...

Oh the engineering looks superb. I can see that it is beautifully made to do its job but it’s sold to be concealed! That’s not designed for opening paint tins.
