Quench the steel in IrnBru during the smithing.

It's 80CRV2 steel and rusts, orange cerakote (there is a choice of coatings) stops blade (but not edge) from rusting.

Orange blade to mitigate chance of losing it. I´m no assassin so blade need not be black. And orange blade does not show when sheathed.
