The Reverend Mad Dave

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
Actually, decided "Scots Pine" was better. I promise i'll keep this one now

So how does a fellow get ordained? Sounds like the religion for me...
And I had a thought! Say a policeman stopped you in the street and asked you why you were carring a Gransfors axe or a 33" Parang... well it's for my religion y'see sir. I do believe we have the ultimate excuse. :-)

huum.. i see an idea here "its part of my religious dress sir" :biggthump

Kneel Master Hobo *places hand on sholder* (wheres dave and jake??)

now what tree would you like to be?

Im here fellow Minister. All we need now is the final step, the acceptance into bushcrafti by the Mighty Oak.

I shall call thee... Rev. Great Elm Arctic Hobo.

Now, Mighty Oak? :notworthy

I think that a policeman must accept that a Granfors, a Northstar, and a crook knife are the necessary tools of the religion *cough*trade*

:o):

I feel honoured! Can I be a Norwegian Spruce instead? :naughty: :?: :biggthump :o):

Gentlemen, I rally to your call and we accept Arctic Hobo into the fold of the Bushcrafti. As a sign of our benevolence, We shall accept you as the Reverend Norwegian Spruce. What say you brothers ?? :super:

Im actually beginning to like the name Great Elm myself, identity crises

Sorry, but remember Silver Birch, *edit* we're all equal in the bushcrafti

I seek allowance from fellow ministers for the again, and final changing of my name.

I baptise myself "Great Elm". Now i seek the word from Mighty Oak, Silver Birch, and Norwegian Spruce.

:notworthy:
