I am thinking about getting one a new cookset to go with my svea 123R as I'm not really fond of the pan that comes with the stove.

I spotted these on the optimus website:- Tera weekend he (dimesnsions 12.4x16.5cm) and Terra Solo cookset ( dimensions 10.7x13.6cm)
The dimensions on the website for the weekend he should swallow the svea (dimesion 10x13cm) with bags of room so I would have to put a rag/towel around the stove to stop it rattling about inside.

For this reason I am leaning more to the solo cookset. the dimensions are only slightly bigger than the svea stove, so should be a snug fit.

Does anybody on here have this/know anybody that has this combination of stove and cookset that can let me know how well they fit together?

Don't know about the Opti pans but the Primus Eta 1 ltr set works well with a 123. Also the GSI Glacier mug fits a 123 like it was meant to & has rather more capacity than the stove's own pan/cup.

I have the one litre Primus Eta pot and my Svea 123R fits nicely inside it with a tea towels worth of space around it to stop rattles and keep the stove from taking the Teflon coating off its inside. Its got the little fins on the bottom to increase efficiency and it all comes in a little carry bag.
I've not got any pictures of it nesting inside the cookset but I assure you, it does.
Gratuitous shot of it on the stove anyway.

OK, but what about leaking, sooth and bad smell? I'm tempted to use a configuration like yours but I'm concerned about the 'sting' of withe spirit out of my cup or pot. Any experiences with that?

In the end the terra solo cookset was too small so i sent it back and got the terra weekend one instead! Stove fits in nicely now with some room for extras.

Sorry about images i uploaded via my iphone and it has changed the pics orientation. Can't figure out how to post from iphone and get the images the right way up

It might baffiliationsrest to other SVEA 123 owners and users that the myti pot from alpkit nests wonderfully, almost like it was made for it.

I have no affiliations other than I'm a happy myti pot owner!

Does anyone know will the Allocs 2 person cook set (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Aloc...-portable-alcohol-stove-cw-c01/862949811.html) work with the SVEA 123r?

I have given up chasing a SIGG Tourist so looking at the above as an alternative.

Keep looking - they're worth it, and one will turn up eventually! As well as the Sigg tourist sets, there was also a smaller set by Opimus using the SVEA123 I believe (I've got one somewhere but can't put my hand on it at the moment...) ah - Optimus 88 and here is a link http://www.spiritburner.com/fusion/showgallery.php?fid/510/

some more pics of 88 set http://www.spiritburner.com/fusion/...e/1/fid/510/tid/12330/pid/107805/post/107805/

Not blown away by those, mine had melted the aluminium on the thinner parts of the windshield. The brass Optimus climber windshield is far nicer in my opinion.
Plus its a better shape to fit into a smaller space.

Never happened to mine - maybe you got a clone! The Sigg Tourist set is both bigger and more robust, true.

My main problem with the SVEA 123 set is that its a bit unstable - even more so when you put a pan on top. Which is why I prefer it in a set like the Sigg, which also gives you several pans/frying pan in a very compact package.
