Hi all i saw someone talking about my army surplus shop ! yayyyyyyy lol
nice to know we are getting noticed,
and by the way lol our prices are sensible not silly lol
honeslty i just think its wrong to rip people off and allot of army surplus placs are going that way unfortunatly, hopefully you'll all be happy to know we have no intention of changing our ways.

Good news Rich!
I had a great time and on the way home swapped the huge chute for a smaller one and a whole bunch of Rat packs. I recommend the new army surplus just east of Pontargothi to all West Wales Bushcrafters as his prices are silly low (rat packs £6, Swedish military trangias £5 etc.....
Thanks to all for making the weekend so much fun, especially to Lil' Jed for beating me up....I had a realy good and chilled time.
John:)

Thank you for the mention john!

West Devon, Edge of Dartymoor!
I'm going to try and make it to this one...

has anyone contacted the site to see if we need to book in advance? (assuming they're still running a campsite? )

I wouldn't mind a lesson in Rabbit prep if someone can spare the time to show me... it's something i've not done before

hopefully see a few of you there :)

Going to have to miss this one i'm afraid. Sharon's bigger than the buffet at a weight watchers convention at the moment and may spew forth bodyparts in a cute and cuddly manner at anytime. Have a good one peeps and let us know how it goes.

You do have a way with words!
Good luck all round mate - let us know when, which sort and how heavy the new bushcrafter turns out!

Good luck Jed - hope all goes well.

Re checking the site Lloyd is going to pop in on Sunday and make sure everything is ok for our visit.

Greg - Lloyd has 2 squirrells in the freezer, so should be enough for a taster.

The banks of the Deveron.
If we/I come it'll be for a bit in the afternoon on Saturday - this may be a kiddies on the beach day after that.

I'll bring the Kif for people to play and I'd love to learn to do a bunny too.

Hi guys

Lloyd has just returned from visiting the site and all is ok for our visit at the weekend.

I'll be speaking to him later, and if he has any further info I'll post it up.

See you on Friday

Hi guys

More info from Lloyd.

The road leading up to the site is signed "Nedd Valley".

As you go up the road keep an eye out for a "NO SHOOTING" sign on the left, when you reach the sign take the track leading down to the left.

This will take you down to a small carpark - watch out for the monster pothole, but Lloyd reckons you can get by it if your carefull.

From the car park cross the bridge and through the gate on the right to the site.

There are some scrubby trees around but we're not sure if they will be suitable for hammocks, so if youre planning to hammock it may be worth having some backup accomodation just in case.

Lloyd is planning to get there for 1630 ish, and I hope to be there by 1900 on Friday.

See you all there

Stewart

PS All this will cost you the princely sum of £1.00 (Sterling) per night.

Fires are allowed at the site, but there is little or no fuel lying around. So if we can all pick up a bag or two on route it would be usefull.
