-4 In my shed this morning, very heavy frost - made everything look white. Although the sky had a really lovely deep shade of blue, very crisp and clear this morning with a bright moon - nice dog walk if a little slippy.

Only had a brief flurry of snow so far, last week, which lasted for a day :(

Very wet snow on the ground here in Chester. No sign of it going before nightfall, so there's a fair chance it will be sheet ice before morning.

Well sadly it's more or less all melted here now and an overnight freeze is predicted for the next 3 days :(

Hopefully there'll be a decent amount before the end of winter

Ment to be minus 24 here on Thursday night, told the missus I was going to sleep in the garden to test a sleeping bag. She just looked at me and said , I knew you would say that.
I have no idea how -24 feels , as it is my first winter here I am very curious :)

- 300 C. A geordie explorer reaches the north pole in a t- shirt and shorts with his supplies (4 cans of broon in a plaka bag.) He then chins a polar bear (for looking at wor lass !)and makes a coat out of it. (for when it really gets cold !)
