Sad that Long Wave has finally been switched off. I am not convinced about the "old tech" argument, in spite of everything its a lot more repairable than new tech, and so are the receivers.

Oh, that vaunted DAB. Which cannot be received along much of the Heads of the Valleys Road in south Wales. That's not a minor road through some unpopulated area either...... FM just about clings on......

And all this technology was once new and caused the death of the preceding technology. Twas ever thus.

Very sad and incredibly disappointing, I dont get DAB or FM signal and mobile signal is extrapatchy to non existant where I live. My Internet comes over a mountain to the east and dies regularly and only available at home LW has been great here in my work truck and at home, very times.
