I have a question about these knives. Where did they come from and why are they called nessmuks? Do they have to do with George Washington Sears and if so what do they have to do with him because I read that he liked a certain marbles knife or something and I don't think it was the same knife design. I don't wanna throw the topic off track or anything but I've just been wondering.
Very nice - a little too curvy for me, but close. If you imagine a straight version of that handle on one of jojos blades...........
These are variants of the design illustrated in his book. I believe it was Kephart that liked a Marbles but I could be wrong.
just about 3mm at the spine, but as they are flat blades and quite wide they are still very keen slicers

Yeah but I've been doing a few tapered half tangs lately and I've become quite fond of them.
