nice very nice

I have a question about these knives. Where did they come from and why are they called nessmuks? Do they have to do with George Washington Sears and if so what do they have to do with him because I read that he liked a certain marbles knife or something and I don't think it was the same knife design. I don't wanna throw the topic off track or anything but I've just been wondering.

These are variants of the design illustrated in his book. I believe it was Kephart that liked a Marbles but I could be wrong.

This one's not finished yet, still needs some sanding on the handle and sealing. 01 and curly maple.

Sorry the pics a bit dark, my camera doesn't like indoor picture taking.

Very nice - a little too curvy for me, but close. If you imagine a straight version of that handle on one of jojos blades...........

You win Red! I'll get some antler from Highland horn, for my forged blade and also I'll make a stick tang blade and put that together! Scandi grind, or not....hummmm

:) Nice one Luke. Is it a full tang?

Aaah but its part of the "ana" list beloved of all kids when describing "what do you want for <insert celebration of choice>.."

A penknife

ana airrifle

ana tent

ana load of sweets

ana pony :D

To this day when describing what I really want it has to be done at increasing pace and rising volume. You know when I've finished because the list rises in cost and difficulty and ends in the triumphant "ANA PONY" :lmao:

Damn... I fell for it... bl***y kids :aargh4: , don't they know I am not made of money:nono: ...grumble..grumble...push yer luck any more and you'll get nufink out of me.. :twak:
