Good evening everybody:D

ok so a bit of a random number but,...

my brother just pulled the parque floor in his dining room (THE FOOL!!!)

anyway,..i got two sacks full of solid Oak pieces and feel like spreading the love a little,...:cool:

i,m so uninspired with the stuff but i know its too good to burn,....

and the grain on some of them is very pretty,..

so the competition is,...

whoever comes up with the most imaginitive creation with,..lets say 10 of these pieces, is the winner,...

i will post out ten the bits (if your idea requires more then let me know)

and the best creation posted in this thread wins,..erm,....ok...

i plan to buy a stupid stupid survival type knife soon,..(like Southey,s Hellion survival thingy)

and so i need a space on my knife shelf,...i'll have a look whats on there and make a prize of it,....

i'll run it till we all get bored or summat,...

oh and in the spirit of randomness, i also had a Clone Trooper in the kitchen too at the weekend,...

anyway........Palisade fencing for a mini fort :)

sleepers for a model railway track

tent pegs

easy to carry kindling

lay 6 flat in a circle, lay another 6 flat on top slightly offset ( like brickwork ) and repeat to build a decorative flower pot holder

I'm having a complete blank on this one.....but facing a possible (repeat only possible) 'prolonged spell off work' may come up with an idea.....Ping me and i'll participate.....Hmmmmmmm.....some knid of over elaborate mouse trap involving a shoe....weights, pulleys, a 45 rpm vinyl of 'the frog chorus'and exactly 11 pieces of old oak flooring...Hmmmm Thinking cap well and truely covering my bald patch.
