The country will be as screwed then as it is today.
Everywhere has it's good and bad points.
Speaking as someone that's spent a fair bit of time in many many countries i can tell you the UK is a pretty darn good place to live.
Some place offer something better but then others things are worse, it's really about getting a balance of things that are important to you.
If your young though and recon there is better out there then give em a go, it's not as difficult as most think it is if it's what you really want.
I'm a bit off-topic now so i'll say this for the UK then shut up.
In my travels i've met hundreds of ex-pats, a lot i have kept in contact with.
Out of ALL of the ones i keep in contact with i know only 6 or so that are still outside the UK after 15 years.
ALL the other have moved back to the UK within 15 years, that's from places as varied as Aus, New Zeland, Japan, USA, Turkey, Russia, India, many European countries and obviously Greece.
