another great read the delay just makes it something to look forward too all the more , just looking at the pics though fills my head with more projects which is not helpfull at the moment but gives me a real insight to what i need next year for a comfortable trip ,its amazing how much you can learn from just studying pics .
its true i can look at a picture a dozen times and spot something new each time, i seem to forget alot i read but when i look at pictures and imagine all thats going on in them its like ive been their and take in the atmosphere and it sticks in ones head. i look forward to more .

That is real bling i assume the buckles and rings are silver , but none the less a very nice peice of leather work . The one thing i love about the saami stuff they make they make it very pleasing to the eye and colourful which i suppose helps it to be spotted in all the white but also makes it cheerfull and a pleasure to see, i suppose even though everything is always white and bright and fresh looking if you live their with it even the white snow can become dull to look at. They are truely works of art and i know why the prices might seem high if i had the skill to produce some of that stuff and the time id have to sell a spoon for at least £100 just to cover my hourly rate.
Yes! Silver is the metal of choice, a lot of the traditional Sami silver craft has a dual purpose, it can be worn as decorative jewellery, or taken apart as a form of silver for bartering with. The pieces we seen were real works of beauty.
