Looks like I am going to spend some days in the Danube delta in June. Travel involves plane changes so we have decided to travel with cabin only luggage. That kind of means no knives but I want one when there so any suggestions for a reasonable cheap knife for the duration? I don't have the slightest what is available over there, Opinel? What else?

(more like a quick search and see if they have a online store to go with the bricks and mortar.)
Next level is see if they could hold an order?
But practically a slightly better option could be to browse the local supermarket and look for a suitable paring knife?
Maybe a little research or chat with the embassy to brush up on local knife laws too.
Bonus points if you can make a new friend and pass the knife to a suitable home. (Must be some bushcrafters lurking out there somewhere?)
