Pathfinder school shipping time?

I bought a Jeff White knife from The Pathfinder School in the States, it was shipped via USPS on the 21-07-14 and the last tracking update was 24-07-14 when it was processed through Chicago airport, seven days seems a while for it to show up again!
I wondered if anybody else has bought anything from Dave Canterbury's site and if so how long it took to arrive from the U.S.?

I bought the blanket pin striker and it took a while- but I wouldn't say it was anything more than I expected, around 13 days. That's how long most stuff I've ordered from the states has taken, if customs catches it like they did with mine it slows it down. It was a good service all the same .

Thanks Cameron, have you had longish gaps in tracking updates?

I ordered something from Canada a couple of weeks ago and it took seven days door to door

I'm not sure to be honest, I think I may have only tracked it once. I may be wrong but it may have been a few days after you ordered when it was dispatched?

And that's quick! I've had stuff from the UK take longer than that!

Mine took about two weeks to turn up and I had no shipping info after the parcel left the states.

usps tracking disappears once it leave the US they don't track it after that, you also have to contend with the fact it will likely hit customs which could slow it down another week or so

You may well find that the tracking number will work on the Royal Mail site...

The thirteen digit number (if that is what you have) is part of an international system that allows packages to be tracked in different countries.

It'll look something like this...

AA 0001 0001 9GB

...packages that I send or receive from the UK can be tracked there and here in Hungary using the same numbers.
