My my Lanny, I usually expect a dinner and a date before I reveal that sort of info! :D

Not sure to be honest, I have it stored in the garage right now... I think about 5 or 6ft long... probably 15 to 18 inches wide.

I'll measure it up tomorrow.

Sounds like you have a similar plan to me... I'm thinking of taking enough to boot up the wood stove and give me a couple of hours of heat, a meal and a few cups of coffee.

Alternative is slow burn wood pellet cat litter... but need to check if they sell it readily over there.

Way I look at it, the harder the pull, the more you sweat and the more moisture, the colder you get. Dry and warm is the goal for me.

Yes thats true dewi. You start cold and work warm with just your base layer and outer shell. As soon as you stop the thick main or Mother coat goes on to keep you warm. Job done. Should get some logs from the garage mate. I will be getting some petrol for the multi fuel stove.

I have to carry petrol or my Zippo runs out on day one. Not sure if I can carry it on the plane... will have to check what I can and can't carry in stowed luggage.

I worked for a short time in a commercial freezer.. whenever we had a break, we were going from minus conditions into regular temperatures... if you ddin't remove a couple of layers, you'd get back in the freezer and it'd be an uncomfortable shift.

Bright side, I learned to use handheld computers with gloves on, so hopefully that will pan out well for assembling a stove in minus conditions.

Sorry guys I have been out of touch and everything. Been stuck down in Blandford and West Moors with no phone signal or internet. Was a killer but back for a week before heading back there for a month but hopefully I will be on the main camp on the next trip so will have internet at least...hopefully.

A suggestion on wheels for a proper pulk. A kayak trolley. Big wheels for easy pulling - those little ikea things re a pain on anything other than airport concourses - and by giving you the option of putting the wheels at the centre of balance of the pulk because of the flexibility of their design, a really easy pull on pretty much any surface until you get to the snow/ice!

I need another bag.
1 bag for sleeping bag and mat, and floor tarp.
1 bag for all clothes.
1 6' long bag for equipment, like tent, stove, pot, shovel, katanaboy, axe, snowshoes etc.
I handheld bag.

Just got to sew on a furr ruff. make some final adjustments to the tobbogan. Just about ready to try different packing scenarios.
