Hey everone,
I have been on this board many years ago, but wasn't really active. But I want to meet people and discuss topics beside social media, so I decided to join here again. My family and I live on a small farm with a bunch of animals and we try to make as much as possible on ourselves. Bushcraft has always been a major interest since I jumped through the woods as a kid with a cheap old folding knife and a bottle of ice tea.
My occupation is corrections officer but honestly that's not what I want to do till I retire. I love to craft things from leather, wood, bronze and antler and I hope I can make a living from that one day. We are located in germany, but our dream is to move to Northern Sweden, as we already have friends there and being in Lapland feels like the soul is coming home.
What should I write? I am a hopeless romantic and I choose a campfire in solitude or with some loving people over any urban activities. Self baked bread with self made butter and self smoked ham over any fancy restaurant food. And I think the trees and the sky are telling us way more important things than TV and Internet.
