I'll bring my firelighting gear - I have a collection of ferro rods, flint & steel sets, chemicals and different tinders that i use with Scouts.

I can also do a demo on making char cloth if needed.

I'll test the water now rather then just show up with my acoustic but would anybody mind musical accompanyment perhaps a small sing along?
nothing kumbuya or anything, but i was thinking of one or two of my own and whatever i can play that peeps might request.
i'm not awful and i gig regularly, i don't carry on playing till 3 in the morning and i can take a hint about shutting up.
just on the outside chance really, plus if others want to bring any instruments or make some to play along even better.

as i say, testing the waters, if people don't like the idea thats fine, i won't be offended if you tell me to bugger off, i'm big an ugly enough to take it i'm just a very musical kinda guy.

Personally I think that would be great and I suspect a couple of others would feel the same too.

It would certainly be an improvement to the usual Monty Python impersonations.

I'm no great musician myself but I like a good sing-a-long from time to time, If all else fails we can move to my bivi area if the main fire is too noisy.
