Cheers Ian, I might just take you up on that, should be a good weekend.
I just need to find a billycan, wilkinsons here I come!
I may have my possibles bag, as Katy is coming down to blackpool (where I'm staying) at the weekend and she said she might bring it for me (If she can carry it).

Katy's bringing my Bag, so I'll have my Ti mug and a decent blade.
Really looking forward to it now.

Does anyone know an easy way to get to middlewood on foot/public transport?
i'm heading over from warrington but right now i'm stuck as neither me nor col drive and tbh between us and worsley is a mahoosive belt of farms.
any idea's? i need to be able to get out sunday morning too, its my sons birthday that day and i'd like to get home by lunchtime.
i reckon i can do it as long as i get near some major bus/rail links but i'm not sure where to find any round that area.
any tips/advice would be smashin'

i reckon i may have found a way, i can get the warrington 28 from birchwood to leigh, then the gmpte 26 from leigh to worsley. the route passes by the entrance for middlewood!
they run on sunday to so i reckon i'll be good!
if all else fails we can go hardcore and walk along the canal from leigh but thats a bit brutal. i remember it taking a fair while in a narrowboat!

Ok, there's a fair bit of farmers land to cross, also two motorways a rail line and a canal.
as the crow flies its about 12-15km.
doable tbh. but i'm being lazy on this one methinks ;)

As long as I have an electrical hookup and full plumbing for the hammock I'll be happy. Speaking of which, are there any restrictions on hammocks? I know some sites can be a bit funny about them

Don't worry, I think I've answered my own question. Going by previous threads, hammocks don't appear to be a problem

We are sharing the site with some LARPers.

I have booked the top half of the site, centred on the camp fire circle.

Pitch up anywhere really.

If you need me when on site I'll be the one in green carrying a knife!

You thinking of bringing the electric blanket?

I have a new rucksack, so now have plenty of space for blankets ;o)

It is the Serenity/Firefly science Fiction roleplayers again so we will have lots of people dressed as cowboys and pirates wielding plastic guns wandering around.....so say after me "VOLLEY FIRE" :)
