Looking for leather ideas

I have got hold of some veg tan leather which is 5mm thick I am a bit short of ideas as to what to do with it now I got it. Any ideas gratefully received!

Some good ideas here.

The stacked leather handle is a good idea, that leather would be ideal for that. A good strop too.
