Interesting that the hospital gave her charcoal based drinks to absorb the toxins.

They will have been able to determine that it was A.phalloides by analysing her blood chemistry.
Shouldn't there be a standing thread entitled "September Fungi Mortality / Near Death Experience," as this happens every year at this time?
I agree. She was very unlucky to pick up and try a death cap which are relatively rare and miss all of the very common edilbles.
