Found bones buried in the ground but what are they off

On a wander out today I was taking a walk away from the tourist routes when I stumbled upon a few bones sticking out of the ground. I tried to pull one out but was stuck fast. I decided it would be best just to take a couple of pic.

My question is does anyone know what type of animal these are from or are they even human?

No, looks like the tip of a femur. Although without that scale it's hard to tell what it's from.

I'm no where near an expert, but from watching 'wire in the blood and Rebus' they look human to me

Bit scary eh! If that was down by Stachiomans place, I'd not be going down there again.... EVER. I'd also be dialling the rozzers.

It does look amazingly human. Was the round part of that socket about the size of a golf ball? If so, ooooooooh!

Too big for a sheep then. Better to be safe... inform the police.

There are other possibilities, but the way they are sticking out of the ground is not at all natural.

Best contact the police before someone else finds them and does it, they now have your DNA all over them from where you tried to pull em out
