Footwear Soleing

I have a couple of boots that will both soon need resoling - as they could still live for the rest of my lifetime. One pair rubber and the other leather. Can anyone recommend a good cobbler for this?
I know Timpsons would be the first on everyones minds, but the quality of their soleing is only, ok. I wouldn't want to take expensive boots to them.

Any recomendations???

Up here I'd recommend Tiso's........don't know if they have a branch in your area though

Try and find an independent cobbler and talk to him. My local guy charges £35 for Vibram sole replacement

Altberg do an excelent re-soling service. MY own altberg's(field & fell's) are on their 3rd sole.

I have put this up before and they provide mail order service and are specialists in outdoor gear. No connection etc.
