Do Victorinox still offer the option of making your own as part of the guided tour of the factory?
IRRC they used to.
Expensive knife unless you're looking for an excuse for a holiday in Switzerland ...

Been looking for this combination of blade, saw and awl.
As long as it’s not that crappy corrugated blade, ugh.
Can’t be arsed with these multitool things, I know they’ve a purpose but not for me generally speaking.
No, it's a a normal straight blade, not serrated - see my photo earlier in the thread.

there seem indeed several makers for them, the one i got issued was brandnew and made by victorinox-- which meant it sadly got lost as soon as i found out :P i only wished they'd skipped the bottle opener and made the saw full length...
There's a few videos on them on YT. Some of the makers are ok, the Chinese knock-offs are pretty terrible, but universally recognized that Victorinox made the best ones, which isn't a surprise to anyone.

Problem with the new GAK / Soldier from Victorinox is that it isn't UK legal. Blade is too long and it locks, so you need to find the original 108mm version.

Joker make a nice one. Not budget level but nicely made.
That is nice, I am familiar with the brand, Spanish i believe? I’ve never seen it handled one but that does look very nice i must say.

Seems Walter Röthlisberger has retired. He made traditional looking pocket knives.
Though seems he handed it over to

I used to carry the Mercury every day. Now it lives in my truck as a back up. Lovely little tool.
I have one of these, decent little package. The saw seems at effective as a SAK one, if not better.

Any other options out there?

Cheers in advance.
The Puma 953 springs to mind. A beautiful knife with real antler scales

I have a mint version but they are a collectors item now

I ended up buying some bits off AliExpress to mod a SAK to just have large and small blades, saw and awl. Might be an option for you

I'm guessing a Walker. Unfortunately discontinued.

One option is the My First Victorinox with saw. Sometimes referred to as "Plus". Either swap out the rounded blade for a regular one, reprofile the end, or leave it as it is and bring tears of joy to the anti-pointy things lobby.
