The rationalist would say it is the post hoc confirmation bias in operation, you would need multiple observations in order to advance it as a viable hypothesis, however I do expect if the US has not completely obliterated all space records and geological data, that a scientist could look for correlations between solar events and volcanic activity.

That's why I'm not actualy claiming I predicted it, just my knowledge of geophysical activity, and studying the solar maximum , made me feel there was a strong 90% possibility, I certainly didn't expect it to happen so soon after I said it.
I trust my instincts more than anything else, and I'm quite often proved right, though I definatly don't have a 100%success rate. It still amazes me when I am right, every time, though I do have a few friends who often say, how did you know that would happen, ?and they now trust me to be mostly right.
For instance, when covid hit, I kept saying that march the 8th was the latest things should be shut down, as even another week would throw absolute chaos at us.
A year or two later, the government said in the inquiry, that they should have done it earlier, and the date they gave was......March 8th.
Spooky!
It's not something I can do to order. It's an inner feeling.
I have many, many other incidents, and often been asked if I'm a witch. :) :)
I just call it being aware, and in tune with things.
