I was in for a meal the other night when six fellows with Celtic/Hibee scarves came in and started singing at my table,
I didn't know what was going on until I checked the menu...

All dishes are accompanied by a medley of vegetables..:o

As a Chef - "a medley of vegetables" = whatever's still left in the chest freezer...
 
Give me a can of red stripe in Vicar Street (Rialto) and i'm happy, whats in Newmarket street? a shop that sell wheel trims and the taxi rank?

Coasters and being able to spell the pubs you have been in confirms its an age thing lol

Vicar St? Where I saw Star Wars 6 times in a row and Grease 9 times in a row?

I got chucked out 8 times for being a better dancer than John Revolting.

Rialto? Was it a den of iniquity/gambling? Fiches(sp?) on Manor St - near the Cafe and the pet shop.

Walk west past them and ye enter Newmarket St and the Newmarket Bar.

It was so dull we called it "The Chloroform".

I pulled many times in there...
 
I lived on Cumbrae in the Firth of Clyde for 3 years, so I'm able to translate, but others may not be so fortunate. Shouldn't this thread be in English? ;) :p :angel:

I have simple needs so:

A years supply of Fortnum & Mason luxury food and drink hampers

Wind up radio so I can listen to the World Service

A 'Real Doll' from real doll dot com
 
hiy ganng just had a thought i would actually take

radio senda and reciever
3 record players with mixes and mikes and linnk up gear for the above sender and reciever
and the last one a vynal copy of every single and album ever to be in the top ten

why cos i could then call the show desert island discs

sorry i will get my coat
