I think so, and because pummice is volcanic rock it will heat up quickly and help with the heating process I think??????

I think the thing with pumice is that it's very low density, so it won't conduct heat away from the pot as quickly as a higher-density rock. Plus it's light.

A 1/2 oz will burn for 7 min. and boil 20 oz. water when it gets dark over here i make a video for you to see how it looks

i like that. very cool indeed.

my usual mug is a very old american one. the "L" shape handle makes it easy to clip onto the end of a branch and just stick it in the fire. i think you can still getthem from silverman's. at a silverman price.

i have a dinky esbit stove in my possibles pouch for hasty brews when a real fire is less desirable.

cheers, and.

This is my mug too. I love it. Not so keen on the water bottle

Can anyone tell me if it will fit on the crusader water bottle?

I think the British bottle is probably much better because of the wider mouth and would get one if the mug would fit on it and in the pouch.

Or am I dreaming?
