I got two books for Christmas that have been a great source of ideas of things to make and do. I'm sure most have heard of them, Native American Crafts and Skills & Mountainman Crafts and Skills. Both books are by David Montgomery. I believe online book stores have them.
They cover all sorts including tracking, shelters, fire starting and how to make useful tools bows etc.
Will have to decide on my next little project.
