I just had a read through of a thread called "bushcraft instructor" by my freind laurence, the thread stemed from a casual conversation about bushcraft schools and i think he took it a bit seriously. anyway for those who read the thread, this might seem like a bit of an update.
i have recently (in the last couple of months) received a work placement with a small bushcraft school, ive been helping the instructor out with afew things in preperation for a 1 day bushcraft taster session in a weeks time. we have made a lean to shelter at the site of the course, and are planning to set up a tarp next to it, to offer a comparison between modern and traditional.
anyway, i will be co teaching the course with him very soon, personaly he has said i could cover knife skills, trapping, firelighting and carving. whilst i am nervous about this i am also hugley excited, and have spent far too much of my time honing my knife saftey, researching wild plants, trap designs, ecosystems within the forest ect.
ive also just had a full CRB check to go with my level 2 first aid, whilst these arent amazing qualifications or papers, its a start at least.
